Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Phat Tri, 28 years old, creates hair designs in the shape of flowers after 6 years of pursuing a career in makeup and hairdressing.
Tri started to introduce these hairstyles to customers from July 2020. Up to now, his sample collection has been quite diverse, from lotus, hibiscus, chrysanthemum, pink, lily… to creating cubes, waterfalls, bow ties, soccer balls, globes.
“The latter model must be more beautiful and more like real flowers than the previous ones, but it is essential to create softness and flexibility from petal to pistil,” he said.
Nguyen Phat Tri graduated in Biotechnology, An Giang University in 2015, but loves art and is gifted in painting, so he decided to go to Ho Chi Minh City to study makeup and hairdressing.
He said that behind the designs that attract millions of views on social networks is a process that requires elaboration, meticulousness and constant creativity.
Depending on the difficulty, there are Tri models that take 1-2 days, but there are samples that take up to 2-3 months to complete. But they all have to go through five basic steps, from sketching the design; layout calculation; shaping; to find raw materials and accessories; and finally styling on real hair.
As for the samples that have been successfully tested, if he wants to redo it, it only takes a few hours to a day. Judging by the fact, they are not as difficult and time consuming as creating new templates.

According to him, a beautiful hair model not only stimulates the eye but also has its own meaning. “For example, the lotus is considered the national flower of Vietnam, representing the resilience and noble beauty of the people. Or the daisies represent joy, optimism and hope for a bright future. morning,” he said.
To this day, this hair designer does not remember how many models he has done. His clients are also diverse, from party guests, brides to celebrities, depending on the context and destination he will style accordingly. Specially designed hair models cost from 5 to 7 million VND, the bride’s hair alone ranges from 3 to 5 million VND.
Received many orders, but most of Tri had to refuse because he wanted to spend more time on teaching and research, even though the price for making flowers on hair was many times higher than the usual price, due to time consuming. , effort and creativity.
